Since 1934, four generations of the Biever family have been involved in producing and shipping apparel goods to top retailers across the United States. As more and more apparel production moved outside the USA, the Biever family expanded their business horizons, and in 1997 created Alpha Distribution Solutions. Today, ADS is the premier apparel distributor on the East Coast, with sophisticated programs available to assist you in taking maximum advantage of your major retailer apparel and consumer goods supply contracts. In fact, over the past few years our clients have been a repeat recipient of Wal Mart's Vendor of the Year for their product category. We also work with JC Penney, Sears, Target, and other major retailers.

Josh Biever is the fourth generation of a family business that started in 1936. He joined the Alpha Mills Corporation in 1990 after earning a Bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College. After serving in various capacities, he was asked in 1997 to take on the challenge of the formation and execution of what today is known as Alpha Distribution Solutions. Josh was fortunate enough to hand-select and put together an outstanding group of people that make up the work ethic and character of today’s management. His goal is consistent ... prepare ADS for the challenge of the present with a sharp eye on the future.

Bruce Jones

Bruce Jones has been with the Alpha organization since 1998. He has over thirty years of Information Technology experience on multi-tiered, diverse hardware/software platform consisting of corporate mainframes, Microsoft Servers, PC Work Stations, RF hand held scanners and PLC driven conveyance systems. He has over twelve years of experience in delivering practical, working logistics solutions for suppliers and retailers alike. He brings extensive experience in B2B systems having worked directly for many years to successfully implement EDI, AS/2 and application-specific solutions in collaboration with Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Target, Sears/Kmart, AAFES, NEXCOM and many other national and regional retailers. Bruce has taken the lead in the development of a technological environment at ADS that provides B2B functionality with both retailers and suppliers. This includes web-enabled applications for ADS clients to access their inventory and order status information. Finally, the technical environment supports B2C, enabling clients to sell and ship directly to the end consumer.

Kathleen Snesavage
Senior Operations Manager

Kathy Snesavage has twenty years of experience in warehouse management which includes previous positions held with Ames Distribution Services and WalMart Logistics. She has been involved in all aspects of the supply chain system. Kathy implemented a state-of-the-art Pick & Pack module for Ames, and was responsible for all aspects of a 1.2 million sq. ft. facility (including a Rapistan sortation system). Her time with WalMart was very valuable as an Operations Manager for the 'Remix' team through Corporate Logistics. Kathy has completed WalMart training for Operations Management at various WalMart Distribution Centers throughout the country. As a Senior Operations Manager for ADS, Kathy is responsible for replenishment building which includes the Smart System apparel Pick & Pack module and shipping out final product to various retail/ecommerce customers. Kathy has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and achieved Train the Trainer certification.

Chad Jones
Senior Operations Manager

Chad Jones joined ADS in July of 2007 serving as Operations Manager of its 125,000 sq ft Seltzer City Facility. Chad managed pre-pack and cross dock, apparel picking, processing and shipping for major retailers such as Wal-Mart and Kmart. In July of 2009 with the acquisition of the 150,000 sq. ft. Rt. 61 campus, Chad was named Senior Operations Manager and orchestrated the transfer of operations to the new facility. The Rt. 61 campus opened its doors in September of 2009. Automated receiving for the ADS network and B2C operations were also added. While at ADS Chad has worked closely with major retailer traffic departments and has a vast understanding and knowledge of their shipping and routing requirements. Prior to joining the ADS team Chad spent twelve years in Wholesale Distribution as both a Sales and Production Manager. He attended Penn State University, University Park, School of Business, majoring in economics.
